The North Springs Archery Club, in conjunction with Community Nursing Services, will hold the 2nd Annual Stick it to Cancer 3-D Shoot at North Springs Shooting Range on June 18 and 19.

Returning after a highly successful first outing last summer, the event will once again run throughout Father’s Day weekend and work as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. The 3-D shoot will be open for all ages.

“We did this last year as a kick-off for Relay for Life, and we did fantastic,” said Archery Club member Adam Bedont. “We’re hoping that we beat last year’s turnout by giving everyone another chance to get out of the house for Father’s Day.

The cost to participate in the competition will be $20.00 per participant. The cost for those interested in just shooting for fun will be $15.00 for adults and $10 for kids 17 years and younger. The range will be open throughout they day both Saturday and Sunday.

This year’s Relay for Life event is scheduled for June 25 at the Carbon High School track.
