For the highlight of the afternoon, city officials and local law enforcement are recognized with special tokens of appreciation and a grant for the city. The BHD grant for the community is a gift with strings to it, build a better community for the citizens. The grants can be used to make improvements to community centers, parks, playgrounds, libraries etc etc. It is not known at this time how Huntington City will utilize the funds.
