Our loving father, grandfather and friend, Lee Jim Worley, age 89, passed away peacefully at the Central Utah Veterans Home in Payson on August 16, 2020.

He was born March 4, 1931 in Wellington, Utah to Collier and Maude Tidwell Worley.

Married Diane Shiner on December 2, 1950 in Price, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on June 25, 1988 in the Manti Temple.  She died January 10, 2019.

Lee was a lifelong resident of Carbon County who enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and golf.  He really liked watching old western movies.  He was a life member of the V.F.W. and a retired member of the U.M.W.A. and the Carbon Country Club.  Lee honorably served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survived by his daughter, Joni Worley, Wellington; daughter in law, Debbie Worley, Carbonville; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diane; son, Jim Lee Worley; two sisters, Irene and Molly; two brothers, Fred and Mac Worley.

Funeral service, Thursday, August 20, 2020, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.  Interment, Wellington City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
