Ferron City is gearing up for their annual Peach Days celebration and they are looking forward to hosting a Car Show this year on Saturday, September 12 at 10:00 am.

“That’s kind of the fun thing about car shows is we bring all makes, all models, all years and its just kind of a nice display of cars, trucks, bikes, tractors. You know its something you’re proud of bring it out and just have fun with it. The car show community is an awesome group of people,” said Event Organizer, Randy Kenney. Registration will start that morning at 9:00 am, with the show set to begin at 10:00 am till 3:00 pm with awards presented at 2:00 pm.

All vehicles are welcomed to participate in the car show. “We want cars, trucks, bikes, tractors, I mean if it’s got a motor, bring it – is basically my method of madness here,” said Kenney. A car show is an exciting way for enthusiasts to show off their best vehicles.

The car show will be held on the east side of the Fire Station at 100 East & Molen Road. “We are going to line up on 100 East on both sides of the road and if we need to, we’ll take the middle of the road as well – the city is shutting the roads down for us,” stated Kenney. The location of the car show will give participants and guests plenty of room for social distancing.

“It’s $10.00 per entry coming in, we will set you up. We are following health department guidelines to keep social distancing. So, I’m going to try and keep the cars

a little bit of space in between everything. We will have masks, sanitation stations obviously to meet guidelines but just come and have a good time,” said Kenney. For more information and details on the Ferron City Peach Days Car Show call (801) 413-6291.
