The Emery Lady Spartans earned their fourth consecutive victory with a straight set sweep of Altamont Thursday night in a non region road contest.
Riding the momentum of a sweep against South Sevier on Tuesday, Emery wasted no time taking control over Altamont with a 25-14 win the opening set. The domination continued with a 25-18 win, followed by a 25-17 score to close out the match.
During the last four games Emery has been dominate winning 12 of the 13 participating sets. The streak started back on Aug. 22 in a straight set win over Ben Lomond, followed by a 3-1 victory over Duchesne.
Emery will now shift its focus to the Grand Red Devils in a return to Region 12 play at home Tuesday evening. Next week will also feature the first of two matches against the Carbon Dinos, who also started region play with a win earlier this week.
