The Carbon Dinos were on the road Friday night in Moab to take on the Grand County Red Devils. Carbon has struggled lately getting anything going on the offensive side of the ball. Sitting at No. 15 in the 3A RPI ahead of South Sevier and Grand they will need to finish in 16th place or better to make the playoffs. Against Grand the offense struggled and Carbon would have a difficult time on the defensive side of the ball as well, allowing Grand to rack up over 600 yards of total offense on the way to a 48-6 victory for the Red Devils.

Hayden Tallerico got the start for the Dinos under center going 1-of-11 passing for five yards and would have a 46 yard run that would set up Jacob Robertson for the Dinos only score of the night on a one yard scamper up the middle.

On defense Will Charmichael would collect an interception. The defensive unit as a whole would also collect two fumble recoveries tallying a total of three turnovers.

For Grand, no one had an answer for Ryelan Jones. The starting quarterback for the Red Devils ran for two scores gaining 273 yards on the ground while also going for four scores on 8-of-15 passing for 172 yards through the air.

Carbon will now look forward to the long road trip next week against the San Juan Broncos who sit at No. 10 in the RPI.
