The Dinos Swim Squad took to the pool in Richfield over the weekend at the Richfield Invitational. Going up against teams from Millard, Gunnison , South Sevier and Delta. The boys team claimed third place at the meet with the girls team claiming first place over the host team by 29 points.

For the boys Gabe Ibanez claimed first in both the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:24.77 and 100 yard fly coming in at 1:03.81.

The Lady Dinos claimed first place in their second meet this season. Alyssa Chamberlain claimed victory in the 50 yard free with a time of 28.39. The 100 yard free medley team of Chamberlain, Haylee Powell and Tyrca Jaramillo finished with a time of 1:04.08. The 400 yard Free relay team including Jaramillo, Nicole Swasey, Logan Odendahl and Thalyn Lyman finished with a time of 4:36.01.

The Dino swim team was scheduled to be in Emery Tuesday the 10th for a meet however, after the new State of Emergency was issued, the UHSAA issued a statement in compliance with the state’s mandate and have halted all winter sports until at least November 23.
