
David Arill Lindsey, age 72, passed away peacefully at St. Mark’s Hospital November 24, 2020. He was born May 29, 1948, in Price, Utah to Odell and Birdie Lindsey. He married Bonnie Hilton, the love of his life, on September 15, 1979, and together they had two wonderful sons, Aaron and Bowie.
Dad was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and lifelong resident of Carbon County, where he worked in various coal mines for over 33 years, making numerous friends along the way. He was a very kind and loving husband, father, grandpa, and best friend. He had a way of talking to everyone and putting a smile on their face. His favorite moments were spent with family and friends camping, hunting, fishing, boating, and snowmobiling. He loved going to sporting events and rooting for the Utah Jazz, Colorado Rockies, Las Vegas Golden Knights, and the Colorado Avalanche. He enjoyed spending time in Wendover, NV and Blackhawk, CO with Mom. He loved coming home to his dogs, Jack and Jill, who loved him dearly. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and leaves a lasting legacy behind through his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survived by his wife Bonnie H. Lindsey; two sons, Aaron (Dianna) Lindsey and David “Bowie” Lindsey (fiancé Alexis Allard); two grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Lindsey; sister, Maxine Lyons; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Lindsey.
Preceded in death by parents Odell and Birdie Lindsey; two brothers, Anthony “The Rev” Lindsey and Ronald Odell Lindsey; and parents in-law, Paul and Mildred Hilton.
Funeral service, Tuesday December 1, 2020 at 12:00 noon, Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main, Price UT 84501). Family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. until services begin at noon.
