The Price City Desert Wave Pool is preparing to offer public Holiday Hours during the school district Christmas break. Aquatics Director, Tamara Gray was eager to share all the details with Castle Country Radio listeners.
“We will be open more days for the holiday, the 21st through the 23rd because there is no school that week, we’ll be open 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We’ll be closed on Christmas Eve, you’ll be able to come to morning lap and noon lap swim, we’ll have our lap hours at that time. We will be close on Christmas. On the 26th, 28th we’re open 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The only hours that are different are New Year’s Eve is 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, but then on January 1 and 2 we’ll be open from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm as well,” said Gray. Individuals can find some unique gift ideas at the Desert Wave pool for friends and family. “You know if you have that hard person to buy for, we can customize any type of gift certificate for you. From just a simple day pass, to a rental, to a pass, a lap pass, water aerobics pass – if you have someone in your family that comes to our water aerobics class you can buy them a punch pass for Christmas. They make great gift ideas and they don’t expire if you purchase them,” said Gray. The Desert Wave Pool will tailor their certificates to fit the needs of the individual receiving them. If you are unable to purchase a gift certificate in person, you can call, make your purchase and they will mail them to you. Other items that the wave pool carries are goggles, bungee straps for goggles, swim caps, nose and ear plugs, which any of these items would be perfect gifts for the swimmer in your life.
With the new year approaching there will be swim lessons starting up again. “We’re finishing up our last fall/winter session so they’ll start up again in January, on January 4 there’s our next session that will start. About a week before that session starts will have it ready, I’m still kind of getting my instructors schedule put together. But the swim lessons will be coming back up again so we can get you a gift certificate for that as well,” said Gray.
