Barbara “Bobbi” Jo McDonald, age 64, passed away January 14, 2021, with her devoted and loving husband Roger by her side.
She was born April 15, 1956 in Murray, Utah to Darrell and Peggy Lou Elliott Johnson. Married Roger McDonald in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 8, 1998.
Bobbi was adventurous; she loved riding on the back of the Harley behind her Roger. They loved camping together at Joe’s Valley and on the desert in and around Carbon County. If the two weren’t on the Harley, they were on the side-by-side, ripping up the mountains and sands of this beautiful part of Utah.
She was the unofficial “best homemade jam” maker in the world. When her grandkids wanted a snack they would always ask for Grandma Bobbi’s homemade jam. Bobbi was an excellent cook as well; just ask Roger!
Most of all, she was beloved by her family. She forgave as freely as she loved.
Bobbi is survived by her husband, Roger; mother, Peggy Johnson, Tacoma, WA; children, Thomas (Traci) Bozarth, Placerville, CA, Jennifer (Jonathan) Spangler, Citrus Heights, CA; siblings, Loni, and Mary (Raymond) Garboni, both of Tacoma, WA, Matt (Kim) Johnson, Spanaway, WA; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her father, Darrell Johnson; sister, Julie; and loving uncles.
Per Bobbi’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Bobbi online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
