The Price Downtown District would like you to “Find Your Heart” on main street starting Monday, February 8 and ending on Saturday the February 13. Participating downtown businesses invite you to come in their shops for a chance to win up to $400 in prizes.

“Go into to any or all of the participating merchants and look for the heart somewhere in the business, when you find it tell an employee of the store and you will receive one entry”, said Kari Richardson, owner of Apple Country Crafts, “The more businesses you visit the more entries you can have.” She added that the goal is to get more people to visit downtown and utilize the shops on Main Street. Some merchants will even be offering discounts or coupons to shop in their stores.

As an added bonus the Price City Youth Council came up with an idea for an ice skating rink on Main Street behind the museum. Skate rentals are available from Carbon County Recreation for just $5 a pair or $8 for two. There will be a fire pit available for use as well.

The Price Downtown District is a new group that has combined some former groups that is made up of community stakeholders, local leaders and business owners in the downtown district.
