
Martha Lee Gillespie, 89, passed February 9, 2021 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. She was born July 1, 1931 in Las Animas, Colorado to Clarence E. and Alice Grey Peck. She married the love of her life, Wayne Alan Gillespie, on May 16, 1948 in Elko, Nevada. She resided in Paul, Idaho for many years and later moved to Price, Utah.
Martha was a loving wife, mother and grandmother as well as a caregiver to all she came in contact with. Her greatest joy was her family; she loved spending time with them and going out to lunch. She also enjoyed arrowhead hunting and spending time with her pets. She was a proud member of Eastern Star for over 50 years. Her kindness and humor impacted many and will for years to come. She will be greatly missed, but our hearts will be full of loving memories.
She is survived by her three children, Clyde (Sue) Gillespie, Paul, Idaho, Christine Scott, Price, Utah, and Clint (Kim) Gillespie, Price, Utah; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, as well as two great-grandsons.
Graveside service, Monday, February 15, 2021, 1:00 p.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, Utah (1950 East 10600 South). In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
