The Spartans competed in their third meet of the track season over the weekend traveling to St. George to take part in the Pine View Invitational. Emery would claim eight place on the boys side out of 29 teams. Orem, Corner Canyon and Desert Hills would go one, two and three. For the girls they would tie for 23rd place out of 27 teams. Timpanogos, Desert Hills and Cedar would round out the top three.

Treven Brazier would help the Spartans claiming first place in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 39.70 edging out Kenneth Moore of Hurricane. Brazier would take second place in the 110 meter hurdles at 15.36 just behind Moore’s time of 15.23. Brazier was also part of the first place sprint medley relay team along with Creek Sharp, Jess Christiansen and Bryar Meccariello with a time of 3:51.43 beating second place Kanab who turned in a time of 3:58.35.

For the ladies, the team of Aliya Lester, Nicole Castro, Abby Morris and Addie Lester placed second in the sprint medley relay turning in a time of 4:53.36 behind Millard who finished in 4:35.33.
