Carol Jean Oehl, died April 4, 2021 at her home in Price. She worked in real estate her entire career in California, Washington, Colorado and Utah. Most recently at Etzel Realty in Price.
She was born December 21, 1944 in Compton, California to Frank and Edna Mae Boucher Darrow.
Carol had a lifelong interest in British Royalty and all things British. She was able to travel to England and toured castles and other historical sites. She loved music and had a beautiful singing voice. She enjoyed Star Trek and loved watching old movies.
Carol was a strong and independent woman and moved to Price to be with her sister Linda and husband Tom May. She adapted to life in a small town and loved living in Price after being a “city girl” her entire life. She loved coming to Tom & Linda’s barn and helping out with the miniature horses and playing with the barn cats. It had been a daily routine to come to the barn and drink a beer after helping feed the horses. Her two cats Patches and Peanuts miss her terribly.
Preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Edna Mae Darrow; brother, Donald Darrow; nephews, David & Robbie Darrow.
She is survived by her much loved daughter, Katrina Arledge (Mel), Anderson, South Carolina; her loving son, Sean Van Hemelryck (Jen), Erie, Colorado; grandchildren, Sara Whittemore (Tyler); Casey Budge (Connor); Tripp & Timmy Arledge; Jaelyn, Mikey, & Brady Van Hemelryck; great-grandchildren; Brody & Brooke Budge; her sister, Linda May (Tom), Price, Utah; brother, Douglas Darrow (Kim), Victorville, California; niece, Donna Darrow, California; sister-in-law, Joyce Darrow, Millville, California; niece, Kathy Darrow, Millville, California.
