There is a new event that will be taking place over the summer in Helper called Saturday Vibes. This event is set to start on June 12 and will run for eight Saturdays till September 4 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Castle Country Radio was able to speak over the telephone with Kimberly Kuehn to discuss all the details.
“First and foremost, it’s a free event. So just come on down to Helper and get some free fun you know with the kid’s activities, we have a full bar, two live bands. Our opening bands are Pique, which is a Helper local band and then we have Shuffle and their more rock and really a great crowd and we’re looking forward to dancing with a beer garden, and kid’s activities, and lots of artist booths, and non-profits. Just a lot of organized chaos,” said Kuehn. The bands will be playing at the Main Street Park where there will be seating available but guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.
The event is still looking for vendors who are interested in setting up a booth during the Saturday Vibe event. “We’re always looking for vendors all through the season, this is our first season. So you know people will probably be a bit skeptical but I can tell you the marketing dollars going into this event is substantial. That’s because we really want to open up the door and the opportunity for not only Helper, but Carbon County, Price, Emery, Grand, San Juan counties. This is a free family friendly event where there will be many activities available for the children. “Kid’s activities we’ll have bounce houses, face painting, lots of games, you know just in the street where every vendor will also contribute to something of a kid’s activity,” said Kuehn.
