Our loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and dear friend, Jean Stone Maynarich passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at the age of 88.

Jean was born February 24, 1933 to David and Agnes Shaw Stone in Latuda, Utah.  Married Joe Maynarich on May 10, 1956 and together they had two children; David and Nancy.  Joe preceded her in death on February 17, 1987.

Mom was always caring, loving, and would do anything to help out if someone needed it.  She did have a temper that would show itself occasionally and she would use her loud voice to let you know about it!  Jean would also use that voice as a loud speaker to let us and the neighborhood know that it was time for us to come home.  Mom was a great cook.  After dad passed away, she loved to watch birds and spend lots of time outside in her yard.  She also loved watching the Jazz and even attended a game (who would have thought).  She will be deeply missed by all.

Jean is survived by her children, David (Staci), and Nancy; grandkids, Bill, Joe, Josie, Amber and Allie; great-grandkids, Saige, Kenna, Jaedyn, Michaelynn, Graci, Kali and Kayson; her sister, Ruth Prichard; and many loving nieces and nephews who affectionately called her “Aunt Jean”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Harry and Jack; and sisters, Janet and Donna.

Per mom’s wishes, there will be no funeral.  Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021, 2:00 p.m., at the Price City Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Thursday from 12:30-1:30 p.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
