Ranae Simonson Garber, age 83, passed away September 30, 2021 at her home.

She was born June 21, 1938 in Sandy, Utah to Arthur L. and Belva Bridges Simonson.  Married Garry Max Anderson, January 6, 1956, they had two wonderful sons together prior to their divorce.  She later married Dan Virgil Garber, Jr. on January 3, 1979 in Phoenix, Arizona and they raised two more wonderful boys. Dan passed away on May 24, 2014.

She attended Jordan High School and the College of Eastern Utah. Ranae worked for Koret of California, The Sun Advocate, Sears and opened her own decorating business Ranae’s Interiors for 30 years. She was also the first flag women in the State of Utah.  She loved to spend time outdoors gardening and golfing.

She was very loved by everyone who knew her and always giving of herself to family, friends and to anyone who she ever met. She will de greatly missed.

Ranae is survived by her sons, Garry D. (Geneva) Anderson; George E. (Linda) Anderson; Samuel A. Manarite; grandchildren, Garry (Tinisha) Anderson, Jr.; Shonna (Tim) Curtis; Melisa Prettyman, Matt (Malena) Anderson and Keith Owens;  great-grandchildren, Alex, Zach, Jace Curtis, McKylie, Amya and Brilyn Prettyman; Levi, Brynlee and Rose Anderson; siblings, Karren Neilson; Janet (Charles) Major; Brent Simonson; Vickie (Jon) Hug, JoAnn (Scott) Cornia; sister-in-law, Margaret Simonson; and many loving nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Ranae was very loved by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dan Garber; brothers-in-law, Leo Nielson, Ronnie Kinder and John Naccaratto.

Private graveside services will be held in the Price City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are welcome to share memories at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
