Antonio Vigil, age 81, passed October 20, 2021 at this home in East Carbon, a place he called home since he was four years old.
He was born August 6, 1940 in Capulin, Colorado to Guillermo and Sofia Garcia Vigil. Married Myrtle Morris on June 25, 1973 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on June 14, 2018.
Tony valiantly and proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was coal miner, having worked at various mines in both Colorado and Utah. He was an East Carbon resident since 1944.
He enjoyed going on walks around East Carbon, as well as hunting and fishing in Utah’s pristine mountains. Above all else, though, he loved his grandchildren.
