Eastern Utah Community Credit Union (EUCCU) is gearing up to help residents in our area by hosting a food and coat drive at all three of their branches. Regional Manager, Joel Hatch-Jensen stopped by Castle Country Radio to share all the details.

“It’s a food and coat drive, and we are accepting both donations until November 19. So we will take any non-perishable food donation, and we will take coats that are new or gently/slightly used. You can drop all those off at any of our three branches, Castle Dale, Moab and Price,” said Hatch-Jensen. The Price branch is located at 675 East 100 North, Castle Dale is located at 125 East Main Street and the Moab branch is on 860 South Main Street.

“As we all go out and buy new things, if you see something on sale, please grab it. We take all sizes, children to adults, all sizes. Slightly used, exactly, if it’s a season or two old and it looks like you’d wear it for another season bring it down,” said Hatch-Jensen. EUCCU will work closely with local agencies in each city to help those children who are in need with warm coats this year.

EUCCU is a huge participant with the United Way of Eastern Utah’s Angel Tree project and they are looking forward to hosting an Angel Tree in their lobby again this year. “The Angel Tree kicks off on November 22, angels can start to be picked up on November 22. You are correct, our branch becomes a center of just gifts for everyone and so it just piles, piles of donations that the community gives to us to help the members in need,” said Hatch-Jensen. Community members can stop by any of the three branches to pick up an angel to sponsor for the Christmas holiday.
