Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Deanna Deuel Cordova, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 14, 2021 in Edward and Michele McKinney’s home where she had been being taken care of for the past month.

Deanna was born in St. George, Utah on May 21, 1957 to Wallace Deuel and Ervene Hall, the second of six children.

She moved to Helper at the age of 14 and grew up there staying in Carbon County for most of her life.  She met Edward McKinney as a teenager and later married him in 2000.  They later divorced.

She enjoyed rock hunting and collecting, making bead angels with prayer cards as a gift to others.  She was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association along with her ex-husband Edward and youngest son Patrick and was a member of the Trinity Christian Center worship team for some time.  She was kind and could make friends with anyone she met.

Survived by her husband, Richard Cordova; sons, Richard Deuel, Calvin McDonald, Jason McDonald, Patrick McKinney, Robert Waldrop; aunt, Hazel Siler; siblings, Vicki (Christian) Maggio, Valerie (Marco) Allen, Janice (Layton) Foster, Randall (Lillia) Jack; numerous grandchildren and her best friend Michele McKinney.

Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mildred Deuel; uncle, Lavon Hall; grandparents; numerous aunts and uncles.

Funeral service, Thursday, November 18, 2021, 1:00 p.m., Trinity Christian Center where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.  Interment, Mt. View Cemetery in Helper.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
