The Emery Spartans continued their dominance on the wrestling mat Wednesday night with a near flawless performance against the Carbon Dinos 68-12, dropping just two matches the whole evening.
Eleven of the twelve matches that the Spartans won were by pinfall, with the lone victory by decision coming in the 157 pound class by Tyrell Guymon.
For the Dinos, in the 150 pound class, Colin Fausett earned a victory. Jonathan Jewkes won by forfeit in the 190 class.
Up next for Emery is the Millard Ironman on Friday and Saturday.
The Dinos will travel to Salem Hills to compete in the Skyhawk Showdown.
