Our beloved mother, daughter, grandmother and sister, Stacy Lynn Willson Everett, age 46, passed away at Castleview Hospital on Friday, December 17, 2021, surrounded by her family. She passed from renal failure and complications of diabetes.
Stacy was born May 15, 1975 in Delta, Colorado to Michael and Patricia Ide Willson.
Stacy loved to drive trucks and was employed by several different companies in Carbon and Emery counties. She also at one point in her life drove truck cross country. This she did for many years before her health issues. She loved Colorado, and at an early age enjoyed back-packing with her family in the Colorado wilderness. She enjoyed watching wildlife and riding her brother’s ATV at her home on Lamborn Mesa in Paonia, Colorado. Stacy enjoyed playing organized sports such as softball and basketball while she lived in Paonia, but we never could get her to like dancing lessons. When she was 11 years old her family moved to Ferron, Utah where she attended middle school and high school. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she made lifelong friendships. Stacy loved painting ceramics and was an exceptional artist at woodburning pictures of wildlife. Her favorite thing to do was to go camping or fishing and to spend time in the desert and in the mountains, especially at her mom and dad’s cabin. But most of all, Stacy loved her children and grandson and spending time with them and her family.
Survived by her daughters, Tricia Michelle Willson and Teddi Ann Everett; grandson, Mikey; biological son, McCoy Allinson, her parents, Michael and Patricia Willson, all of Ferron; brothers and best friends, Michael (JoLynn) Willson, Idaho Falls, Russell (Jodi) Willson, Ferron, Darrell (KasiLee) Willson, Eagle Mountain; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Lloyd and Alma Lowe Willson, Lucian and Florence Webb Ide; infant daughter, KayCee; infant brother, Darrin.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Thayn and the wonderful nurses of the ICU unit at Castleview Hospital for their help and patience in helping the family through this difficult time.
“You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived,” by David Harkins.
Per Stacy’s wishes there will be a graveside service, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, 1:00 p.m., Ferron City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
