
Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, John Edward Vaughn, age 75, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.
John was born on September 30, 1946 to Nathan Vaughn and Nettie Johnson in Huntsville, Texas. Married Wanda Yardley in Huntington, Utah on May 22, 1976.
John worked in the iron industry and excelled as a welder where he was able to help construct several bridges, tunnels, and power plants in Utah and surrounding states.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. He enjoyed the time spent caring for his property in Orangeville, Utah with his family. John had a special love for Lake Powell. Many memories were made with friends and family fishing and camping there. John would do anything and everything for someone in the drop of a hat. There were countless times of him helping neighbors in Orangeville.
Survived by his wife, Wanda Vaughn, Orangeville, UT.; sons, Johnny Vaughn Jr., Texas, Kelly Farnsworth (Peggy), Orangeville, UT., Glen Farnsworth, Lawrence, UT.; daughter, Janice Farnsworth, Texas; grandchildren, Kelby Farnsworth, Florida, Kelsey Dimick (Detter), Clearfield, UT., Kacey Farnsworth, Wellington, UT., Jed Farnsworth (Bri), Price, UT., Katina Farnsworth, Wellington, UT.; great-grandchildren, Brooke Dimick, Brock Dimick, Jade Rinna, McCoy Farnsworth; three step-granddaughters, Brittny, Madi, Josie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
