Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Peggy Luane Peterson Basso, 78, passed away April 16, 2022 while surrounded by family.

Peggy was born on August 29, 1943 to Virgial and Beatrice Peterson in Provo, Utah. She has an older sister Pat whom she was very close to.

She married Ted Henrie in 1962, later divorced. Married James Basso November 10, 1987 in Wellington, Utah. They spent almost twenty wonderful years together caring for and enjoying each other before his passing in 2007.

She attended Provo High School and worked for Carbon School District serving lunch to students for 30 years. She loved her mystery novels, British sitcoms, going to the movie theater, doing crafts, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survived by her children, Ross (Janet) Henrie, Todd (Kristen) Henrie; step-son, Tony Basso, all of Price; sister, Patricia Alvey, Nampa, ID; grandchildren, Candice (Fidel) Garcia, Jenafer (Josh) Erramouspe, Brett Henrie, Nicole (Andrew) Bozzelli, Chelsea (Spencer) Roberg, Tiffany (Tyler) Tucker, Chad Henrie, Katrina Pierucci; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband.

Graveside service Thursday, April 21, 2022, 11:00 a.m.,  Cliffview Cemetery in Price. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are welcome daily and may sign the online guestbook at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
