
Ora Nell Thayn Keel, 79, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, unexpectedly at her home.
Ora was born January 13, 1943 in Price, Utah. She was the youngest of 12 children born to William Azell and Inez Lavon Rich Thayn.
Ora was a wonderful mother and grandma to many. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and great-grandkids. Ora loved watching the Utah Jazz and especially calling her sisters on the phone for a re-cap of the game. She also enjoyed playing Bunko. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and extremely proud of receiving her endowments in the Manti Temple. She was also a member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Ora will be sorely missed by her family and a community of friends.
She is survived by her sisters, Connie Erickson, Huntington, Eva (Max Lee) Tucker, Elmo; children, Clinton Todd (Miki) McInelly, Kena (Mike) Haycock, Alex Chavez, June Navanick, Troy (Anna) Keel, Julie (Glen) Ray and Jay Keel; grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica) Palo, Tyson (Kayla) Haycock, Nicholas (Dakoda) Haycock, Morgan (Derrick) Korenko, Brayden (Madison), Sidney, Colby, Chad (DeAnn), Justice (Amanda) Navanick, Tyler Navanick, Mark Ray, Jason Ray, Amber Keel, Carla (Tyler) Condie, Lexie (Russel) Williams and Carrie Lynn; great-grandchildren, Ty, Cameron, Hayden, Hunter, Kynlie, Daetyn, Olivia; sister-in-law, Renee Thayn; and so many more that she loved.
Ora was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Lynn (Ila), Dea (Colleen), Harold (Ethel) and Jess Thayn; sisters, Ruth (Harold) Nelson, Donna (Clint) Oviatt, Azella (Archie) Bradley; infant brothers, Dell and George; daughter, Rexine Beth Reiners; and grandchildren, Lori Reiners and Dustin Reiners.
Funeral service, Thursday, June 2, 2022, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Wellington City Cemetery.
