Our mom, sister, grandma, aunt, and friend, Cori, was reunited in heaven with her daughter and husband on Sunday, June 5, 2022.  Cori was born January 23, 1948, in Santa Monica, California, to Mary Augusta Hansen and Robert Frank Dunn. Cori first married John Elkins and together they had 3 sons, Johnny, Jimmy and Robert, and one daughter, Suzie. Later divorced.  She later met and married the love of her life, Glade Crosgrove. Cori and Glade adored each other, striving to make each other happy.

One of the many things she loved was cooking. To this end, she owned and operated her restaurant, The Grub House, and was also employed as the head chef at The Little America. Cori’s specialties included potato salad, spaghetti, and her famous Chili Verde.  Cori also loved dancing and painting ceramics. She was an avid collector of Native American and western art décor among a variety of other things. Her love, Glade, custom built her collections a home complete with the title, “Cori’s Collectibles.”  Although she loved everyone, her children Suzie, Robbie, and Jimmy took the cake. She was equally loved in return and was known as a second mom and grandma to many outside her family. She smiled genuinely and lit the room up with that smile.

Cori’s strength and determination were evident throughout her battle with cancer, a stroke and pneumonia. Throughout this battle, her sister, Karen, and daughter-in-law, Lauren, remained by her side as supporters, caretakers and so much more.  Cori is survived by her sisters, Karen Evans, Price, UT, and Suzanne Mitchly; brother, Ladd Kubes; sons, Johnny (Brenda) Elkins, Robert (Lauren) Elkins, Price, UT, Jimmy (Karen) Elkins, South Jordan, UT; beloved grandchildren, Ashley Metz, Kolten, and Bryce Cutler, Lil’ Rob, James, and John Elkins, Tytus and Pyper Reaveley, as well as many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, dearest daughter, Suzie Elkins, husband Glade, and her precious pug, Mitzi.  Thank you to all of the family for the love and support, Dr. Esplin and his staff at Revere Health, as well as Adam Callahan, PA-C, and his staff.
