The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce recently held their annual Casino Night event in May and the evening’s gathering was a huge success. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Executive Director, Barbie Haeck to talk about the details.

“We had our Casino Night at the end of May, it was a huge success and we sure appreciate all of our sponsors, and all the guests that came out,” stated Haeck. This is a fundraising event that is held every year to help generate funds for the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce to host their annual First Responders Dinner, Ribbon Cuttings and other events that the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce helps with throughout the community. This was a great evening to gather together and let loose while assisting with the fundraiser efforts.

Individuals and businesses can learn more about the services offered by Carbon County Chamber of Commerce by attending their monthly meetings. “Our Board Meetings happen on the first Thursday of every month at 9:15 am in the county building in the lower conference room and they are open to the public. We talk about chamber business. If we do have guests, we ask them to let us know what they are doing or how we can help. We talk about community events, and how the chamber can be involved, and anything else that might come up,” said Haeck. This is a great way to learn about the inner workings of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce.
