It was time once again to sit down with Director of Student Services, Kevin Hurst to discuss registration for the upcoming Fall Semester, employment opportunities and rental of facilities on campus.

“Yea, were gearing up for August 29, we’re looking to have our students come back to campus and really anybody that’s interested in starting Fall. We would love to serve you, assist you, and get you registered for classes or even if you wanted to take one or two classes, that’s a possibility,” stated Hurst. Individuals who are interested in applying to USU Eastern may do so at their one-stop Student Support Services which is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

There are some employment opportunities available on campus for anyone that may be interested in a career at USU Eastern.  “We do have some openings and wanted to make the listeners aware of those. It’s a great environment, their great positions, and have excellent benefits. So you can get on our website https://eastern.usu.edu/ and at the bottom of the page, there’s a little job link, click on that link and you can sure out what’s available,” said Hurst. There are several positions available on-campus that will surely fit one’s schedule.

If you are in need of a facility to host a meeting, family reunion or other small gathering USU Eastern offers spaces to be rented.  “We do have meet spaces on our campus – large community space, and having a dining service we could provide a meal or even some refreshments. So if you’re thinking about having a family reunion, please consider us as a location or venue for your family reunion or looking for a meeting space for your company or a conference room or anything along those lines. We would love to host anybody in the community looking for that type of space and we can provide them with food during their event,” said Hurst.
