The Panthers have been pushing through the season trying to put together back to back wins. After the victory over Telos the Panthers suffered back-to-back losses from Panguitch and Altamont. The contest with Green River was a high scoring affair with Pinnacle getting the better of the Pirates 18-13. Wayne was another unfortunate loss right before the showdown with Diamond Ranch.

Pinnacle would display their offense once again in the bottom of the third with one swing of the bat from Davis sending one to left field, that was deep enough to score Ryker Howell and Carlos Alcon. Dylan Pierce also scored on the throw.

Moving into the fourth, with two outs, and a 2-2 count, on the next pitch Joey Howell would score on a passed ball that also allowed Ryker Howell to end up at third. On the next pitch Alcon sent a single to left allowing Ryker Howell to score.  Huitt would double in the bottom of the fifth, driving in Brody Howell and Joey Howell and securing the win for the Panthers.
