After a courageous battle with the aftermath of cancer, Kathy Pendleton, 54, passed away in the early morning hours of September 5, 2022.  She left this earthly realm to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Kathy was born August 12, 1968 in Price, Utah where she was blessed with and an incredible family and a community of friends.

Kathy had a great love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren.  She also loved the Lord and never missed an opportunity to speak of him to her grandchildren.  When her health permitted, she enjoyed going to church at the Grace Baptist Church of Price.  Though the last few years of her life we’re a great struggle, she never let it defeat her.  We will all miss our “Kat Kat!”

Before her illness, Kat worked as a flagger with several companies in the area.  She loved her job and really missed the time she spent at work.  Kathy was an explorer and she loved nothing more than searching for lost Spanish gold!

Our Kat is survived by her parents, James and Lenore “Lori” Pendleton; daughter, Amber Franklin and Tommy; son, Joshua Franklin; two precious grandchildren, Victoria and Aubrey; sister, Rebecca Mendoza; brothers, Steven (Kendra) Pendleton and James Pendleton, Jr.,

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Symbii Home Health and Hospice, especially to Amy Gunter Kat’s dear friend.

Funeral services for Kat will be Friday, September 9, 2022, 2:00 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.  Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Kat online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
