Carbon Medical is excited to be hosting their 70th Anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 17 at 3:00 pm at the Carbon County Events Center at 450 South Fairgrounds Way in Price. Castle Country Radio was able to speak over the telephone with Administrative Assistant, Brittany Zele to get all the details to share with listeners.
“We’re going to be celebrating our 70 years, it’s going to be held at the Carbon County Events Center. It’ll start at 3:00 pm which will start with food trucks, we’ll have bounce houses for the kids. We’ll have two different bands in that time playing for the adults or for families, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm it will be Hyland Markle, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm we’ll have Route 89. About 8:00 pm, we plan on starting an indoor movie,” explained Zele. This event is free to the public, other than there is a cost for the items purchased from the food trucks. The movie that will be shown is Rise of Gru with free popcorn and cotton candy available.
Carbon Medical has been serving folks in the Carbon County area for many years at three clinics. “We have locations in Sunnyside, Price and Helper. We’ve been in the area for quite a while, we’re a federally qualified community health center. So that means we can see patients that are underserved or uninsured. We have a sliding scale; we take private insurance. We have full range medical, family care, we offer dental services, behavioral health services, and a pharmacy in Sunnyside and Helper,” stated Zele. They offer full cycle services and can also refer patients to specialists if need be.
