The Eastern Utah Tourism & History Association are excited to offer this year Haunted History Lectures. They usually give haunted tours but have decided this year to share their stories through lectures at the USU Eastern Geary Theatre.
The first lecture will take place on Oct. 22 at 7:00 pm entitled Fright Night: Murder, Mayhem & Macabre. “What is Carbon County known for death, murder, mayhem and we’re going to talk about it. One of the things that we work on is the story of the White Lady, there’s three different White Ladies all meshed into one story. You go back and search it through history, you find all the elements are three different deaths,” said Bobcat. This lecture is free to the public and will be held at the USU Eastern Geary
The next lecture will take place on Oct.24 at 7:00 pm entitled Fright Night: The Ghostly History of Carbon County. “Because what is Carbon County known for? There’s ghosts everywhere. We are going to be in a haunted theatre, the Geary is haunted if you didn’t know that, most theatres are haunted but the Geary is very haunted. We’re going to be in a haunted theatre talking about ghosts,” said Miss Kitty. Again, this lecture is free to the public and head inside the USU Eastern Geary Theatre at 451 East 400 North.
The lectures are in partnership with the Writer’s & Musicians Workshops of Price Utah, as well as the USU Eastern Theatre Department.
