helper-trunk-or-treat

The Annual Helper Trunk or Treat event will be taking place on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Helper’s Historic Main Street. Event Organizer, Jake Gray stopped by Castle Country Radio to discuss all the details.

“We will run our event from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Then, anybody who’s wanting to participate as a trunk, they’re welcomed to show up, up to two hours prior to the event. We will be there; we’ll direct them to get them set up. That will give them an hour or two to get decorated and ready, that way when the kids start showing up, everything is a go,” explained Gray. Trunks can range from cars, trucks, UTV/ATV, a table with a canopy, whatever the participant wishes to decorate for the children. Participants are urged to enter from the north side of Main Street.

“I’m sure most people, they decorate their cars, some have games, different things, music going on at their trunks. So its kind of depends on what everybody brings and its kind of a fun deal to watch what everybody decorates and their ideas,” said Gray. All children in the Castle Country are invited to attend this family friendly event.

If you are unable to make it to the event but would like to donate bags of candy towards the cause you may do so by stopping by the Helper City Office with your donation.
