Kerwin Frank Jensen “Snowball” returned to his heavenly home on November 3, 2022 at Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem Utah, from injuries sustained in a car accident.

Kerwin was born April 4, 1935 to Frank and Harriet Jensen. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Utah. After serving in the US Army during the Korean War, he returned to Cleveland and remained there the rest of his life. While in the Army, he learned many skills that he applied throughout his life. He attended Carbon College, where he studied mechanics.

Kerwin married DeAnn Black in May 1957. Together they raised six children. Kerwin was a truck driver for many years driving around the state delivering coal to the LDS Church buildings. He started his own trucking business, KFJ Trucking, in 1976. He loved being a part of the coal industry in Carbon and Emery counties. He employed hundreds of people during his years in the trucking industry. He sold the trucking company in 2007 and became a full-time farmer. He loved the farm and would spend every day from sunrise to sunset working hard. He was the hardest working man and his hands proved it. Kerwin loved his parents and he had a special bond with his brothers.

He loved to go on road trips and he would spend his down time watching western movies. He always helped those in need. He helped fund a hospital in Africa, but never mentioned it when he helped someone in need. He lived a hard knock life, but always rose above his trials and found a way to succeed. Kerwin loved his children and taught them the value of working hard. He had a strong opinion about the things he believed in.

Kerwin was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Kerwin is survived by his children, Wynne Ann Cowley, Cal Kerwin (Jeana), Donn Vee Jeffs (Todd), Blaine Edward (Joel), Ty Ren (Yvonne); daughter-in-law, Rayne; 19 grandchildren, Kallon, Keaton, Becky, Derek, DeAnn, Danyale, KC, Zac, Bowie, Dempsey, Blayr, Paytn, Kurry, Laramie, Kenzie, Karlie, Nevin, Lainee, Brax; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack.
