Don was born in Elkins, West Virginia, on June 30, 1969. He built many lasting relationships and positively impacted the community throughout his tenure. Known for his strong work-ethic and charming personality, Don quickly turned strangers to friends and friends to family.
Don had a love for classic cars that stretched from the time he received his driver’s license to his recent years, with a special place in his heart for the 1966 Pontiac GTO. Many tire replacements later, Don found himself falling in love with all things outdoors. From fishing and shooting with his loved ones, to adventurous trips through the mountains with his closest friends, you could be sure that there was a smile on his face when surrounded by nature.
Don was best known for his quick-witted humor, relentless determination, and an unwavering generosity for those needing a friend or tow. He is survived by his three children, Derek, Ryan, and AvRee.
