Jack Pete Greenemeier, 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Wellington, Utah on December 30, 2022.

Jack was born in Denver, Colorado on December 17, 1942, to Jack Bernard and Nellie Marie Greenemeier.  He was the first of four children and spent his childhood in Adams City, Colorado.

Jack was seemingly always happy and loved to play pranks on those around him.  He loved to serve others whenever he could.  He loved to go boating and fishing and his fondest memory is building a boat with his grandfather and riding it on Lake Grandby.

Whenever Jack was asked if he served in the military, he would say “yes” with a smile on his face and would promptly state he was a member of “God’s Army.”  As a young man he became active in the Baptist Church.  He worked as both a janitor and a bus driver for the Baptist Church School and met his sweetheart, Ronda Lyn Ferguson, while “witnessing” for the Lord.  Not too long after on May 31, 1980, they were married.  Jack was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on October 26, 1983 and cherished his church membership.

In 1989 Jack and Ronda moved to Emery, Utah where jack worked for the Bunderson’s doing various jobs including working with cattle and delivering caskets.  In 2005 they moved to Wellington, Utah and Jack worked at Sutherlands and Walmart.

He was a good, loving husband.

Jack is survived by his wife, Ronda; two sisters, Kathy (Ernie) Mewhinney of Kansas and Karen (John) Hawkes of Wyoming.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Joe Greenemeier.

Ronda would like that thank Symbii Home Health, in particular Diane and Stephanie, for their exceptional care of Jack during his final days on Earth.  A celebration of life will be held for Jack in the near future.

Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
