Helper Saturday Vibes is preparing for another successful summer season and they are currently looking for six members to occupy the Advisory Committee. Executive Director, Allie Farnham stopped by Castle Country Radio to share all the details of what they are looking for.
“We are looking for six people within Carbon County, Carbon County residents to join our Advisory Committee and help bring their ideas to life. So these are folks who may have been thinking of something that would be cool or interesting to do on Main Street or just a creative person who wants to help brainstorm new ideas. We are really going to help foster those ideas and bring them to life,” stated Farnham. This opportunity will allow an individual to have a say in the events and activities that will be planned for the summer months.

No idea is wrong, the zanier and engaging the activity the better for spectators and visitors to enjoy.
“The one clarification I want to make is it’s a committee, it’s not a board. You’re not locked in for life or any major obligations, this is lite, this is fun and we’re really just going to have six meetings for the year. So, two in Feb., Mar. and Apr. that’s leading up to our events season. So it’s a great time to get involved and do something, when the weather isn’t as great. But we understand, people get busy, so we’re just going to do two a month in the off season, and then we’re off to the races,” said Farnham. The Advisory Committee meetings will be held on the first and third Tuesday of each month for a total of six meetings.
Positions will be filled annually on a volunteer basis.
