The regular season came to a close for the Carbon Dino wrestling team on the road in Cedar City at Canyon View High School. The Dinos couldn’t keep pace with the Falcons falling 60-15.
Carbon has made its way through the regular season of highs and lows and will now prepare for the Divisional tournament next weekend in Ogden.
Carbon was able to earn wins in three matches, at 106 Austin Cunningham won by forfeit. Colin Fausett was the winner by decision at 144 and Gavin Fausett at 165 won his match by pin.
The Divisional round will be February 3 & 4 at Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, and then the 3A Championships will be February 15 & 16 in Richfield at the Sevier Valley Center.
