Patrick Logan Gross, age 80, passed away in the loving care of family on April 28, 2023.

“In plain language” Pat was born October 2, 1942 to Patrick Lester Gross and Alma “Sally” Bell Gross in Des Moines, Iowa. One year later they moved to Los Angeles, California.

Pat graduated from Franklin High School in 1960. Following graduation, he served in the United States Air Force. In 1968, he married Margaret Caccavo. He worked many trades during his time in L.A. alongside his uncles. Later he divorced and moved to East Carbon after the passing of his father to help his mother and sister out.

Pat worked for Price City on the street and water department for twenty years  up until his retirement. He was a working man, and when he wasn’t working for the city, he could be found working in his yard. He helped raise his youngest sister’s children and was there for them up until his dying days. He loved animals and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with anyone who was open to it. Pat was a member of The American Society of Dowers and The National Wildlife Federation.

Survived by his sister, Alice Gross; nieces and nephews, Spring Whiting, Dionysus (Brooke) Gross, Juan Gross, Eric Siddons, Rodney Siddons, and Katherine Siddons; great-nieces and nephews, Seth Snyder, Nevaeh Whiting, Serenity Gross, Adri Ella Gross, and Heath Gross.

Preceded in death by his father, Patrick Gross; mother, Alma “Sally” Gross, and sister, Katherine Lucinda Siddons.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff at Symbii, who were there every step of the way. We would also like to thank Brock (R.N.) who offered compassionate care and dedication to Pat on and off the clock.
