Brooklyn Ekker and Aspen Taylor of the Lady Spartans both earned second team honors for softball. The Spartans ended the 2023 season with a 14-12 overall mark which included a 4-4 Region 12 mark.

Ekker, a junior shortstop for the Lady Spartans, batted .458  with an .494 on base percentage, to earn another second team nod bringing her total to two.

Taylor, a senior infielder/pitcher, also received a second team nod. Taylor carried a .312 batting average, and a .384 on base percentage offensively and on the mound carried a 3.95 earned run average.

The 3A-All State selections were voted on by the coaches throughout the classification. The Deseret News named Chloe Bytheway from Grantsville the top softball player in 3A.
