Marvin Dwayne Olauson passed away on June 24, 2023 at Utah Valley Hospital. He was 83.

He was born in Driscoll, North Dakota on July 2, 1939 to Erling and Bessie Jackman Olauson. Married Kathleen Bone in Price, Utah on July 28, 2011.

Marvin returned peacefully with family by his side. He loved to work, travel, being outdoors, and was a survival enthusiast. His greatest joy was his children and grandchildren.

Marvin served in the United States Navy from 1956-1961. He was proud to have served on the USS Missouri.

He had great faith and believed families are forever.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Kathleen; sister, Elva; adopted children, Roland, Lorica Pilivi, Jania Olauson; sons, Trenton (Tisha) Olauson, Evan (Anastacia) Olauson; and his many grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother, late wives, and his adopted son Douglas.

The family would like to thank Pinnacle Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Castleview ICU, the staff at Utah Valley Hospital for their kind care of Dad.
