The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their July luncheon on Thursday, June 20 at 12:00 pm at the BTAC at 375 South Carbon Avenue in Price. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Executive Director, Barbie Haeck to get all the details.
“So on July 20, on Thursday, July 20 at noon we’ll be at the BTAC and our guest speaker is Brad Watson, Director of Community & Campus Engagement at USU Eastern and he’s going to be talking about a new program called Eastern Leaders Academy,” said Haeck. Watson will share information with attendees to a better understand what the Eastern Leaders Academy is all about.
At each monthly luncheon, there is always a Business and Community spotlight shared. “So we usually do two Business Spotlights but this month we have one and it’s Robert Oliver, and Oliver Law, so he’ll be coming to talk to us. We have two Community Spotlights this time, International Days and the Carbon County Fair,” said Haeck. Representatives will share information about each celebration with those who attend the luncheon.
Everyone is invited to the luncheon as this is a great way to network with other businesses. The cost to attend is $18.00 for chamber members and $25.00 for non-members. The deadline to register for the luncheon is Friday, July 14. “If you can, by Friday, July 14, but of course if it gets closer to the day and you can come, give me a call, we always have extra seats,” explained Haeck. You can RSVP by calling the Chamber of Commerce at (435) 637-2788 or email cccc@carboncountychamber.net
