Eastern Utah Expo presents the 1st Annual Tattoo Expo & Local Business Showcase set to begin August 25 through August 27 at the Carbon County Fairgrounds Event Center. Castle Country Radio sat down with Event Coordinators, Jeff Passarella and Jeff Holdaway to get all the details.

“I’ve been to numerous conventions all over the country and they’re just a good time, they’re a great time. Good opportunity for people to come in meet artists, checkout some art work, get tattooed there at the show and trust that its going to be done by professionals. People that our licensed, vetted, you know, more than enough experience. We wanted to introduce the tattoo community and the tattoo industry to our local community, you know,” said Holdaway. The Eastern Utah Expo is the premier tattoo convention in the country, featuring some of the most talented tattoo artists from across the nation. Our mission is to bring together the best of the best in the tattoo world and to create an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Not only will there be tattoo artists on hand, but there will be a plethora of vendors and organizations that will have booths set up to visit. “We added a business spotlight, we’re going around asking the local businesses to come out and we’re putting booths out there, so they can come out a setup and we can show the community the different and unique offerings we have. Our town has shrunk a little bit, but there are still a lot of different shops out here and good places to buy stuff. We really want to hit hard on the “Stay Local, Buy Local” support our community. So we thought hey, with a tattoo convention going on the same time, why don’t we get our businesses involved, have them come up and set up, and they can show the rest of the public what we also have going on, you know, down here in the Castle Valley and see the different options we have for that also,” said Passerella.
