Michael James Dennis, age 50, passed away July 26, 2023.

He was born November 28, 1972 in Price, Utah to Vencente and Tammy Chavira.

Mike had many talents such as music, art, karate, and was the star football player for Carbon High where he graduated with a College Scholarship.

Mike married Brenda Defa, together they had 3 beautiful children. Mike and Brenda later divorced.

Mike had a great love for his family, especially his children.

Michael was a lifelong resident of Carbon County. He worked for Price City and had his own karate school. Mike had many friends and never met a stranger. He always offered an encouraging word or a prayer to everyone.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Mychael, son, Christian; parents, Vencente and Tammy; brothers, Jarrod Dennis and Vicente Chavira; nieces, nephews,  many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by son, Jerreon Dennis; sister, Nicole Chavira; aunt, Debbie Noone; uncle, Skip Noone; grandparents, J. W. and Ethel Dennis and Isidro and Celerina Chavira.

Funeral Service, Wednesday, August 2, 2023, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 E Main St. Price, Utah) where the family will receive family and friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery in Price.
