The Carbon golf team was back on the links Tuesday at host school North Sanpete. Coming off a third place finish at their home course, the Dinos ended the day in third place once again, shooting a 318.
Richfield would claim the top spot for the second week in a row carding a 301, behind the Wildcat’s Dylan Stubbs, who shot the low round of the day with a 69. Juab posted a 302, then Carbon. Delta and Emery rounded out the top five.
Dayton King and Kyler Clark both carded a 77 for the Dinos. Jack Hedin shot a 79, with Rydge Butler adding an 85. Sam Madrid shot a 98 and Kolten Wilkinson had a 102.
This is the second match of the season, so the Dinos will have plenty of time to make up ground.
Next up for Carbon, is a trip to Manti on August 22.
