Eastern Utah Expo presents the 1st Annual Tattoo Expo & Local Business Showcase set to begin August 25 through August 27 at the Carbon County Fairgrounds Event Center. Castle Country Radio sat down with Event Coordinators, Jeff Passarella and Jeff Holdaway to get all the details.
Organizers have been working hard to develop an event that will be enjoyed by all and have scheduled 30 tattoo artists to be in attendance. “It definitely took a lot of foresight and work, you know. I’ve traveled within by career, various places, met a lot of different people in the community and just felt like I should share it with everyone. It’s a great time, and the level of talent and professionalism of the artists that are going to be attending, they’re going to blow everybody’s minds, for sure,” said Holdaway. This event is sure to feature some of the most talented tattoo artists from across the nation.
Individuals interested in seeing the work of the artist can do so by visiting Eastern Utah Expo website at https://www.easternutahexpo.com/ “Still make sure you check out our Instagram or our website at https://www.easternutahexpo.com/ You can book appointments with the artists on their accounts, that’s how they want to be contacted. They do have walk-ins available. We do have three artists right now that are completely booked for the whole weekend. So if you have a piece, you’ve looked at the artwork, you see something that you really like, jump on there, reach out to that artist on the DMs or Instagram and shoot them your ideas and start that conversation right now before it even gets here,” said Passarella. Not only will there be tattoo artists on hand, but there will be a plethora of vendors and organizations that will have booths set up to visit.
Four Corners Community Behavioral Health is hosting a Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, August 26. “We got with Four Corners Mental Health to help them out a little with proceeds, we’re going to donate to them for some of their fundraisers that they do – suicide awareness, alcohol and drug prevention. Our area is really hard on that so we wanted to somehow that we could actually give back to the community, so we decided to do a cornhole tournament. We’ll take registration up to about 11:30 am on Saturday. It’s $100.00 to enter into play. First prize is $600.00, second is $400.00, and third is $200.00 with cornhole boards on top of that,” said Passarella. To register for the Cornhole Tournament contact Passarella at (435) 650-6534.
