It’s time once again for another Helper Saturday Vibes event set to take place on Saturday, August 26 at 5:00 pm on Helper’s Historic Main Street. Castle Country Radio spoke with Vendor Manager, Rachel Barbee to get all the details.

The first band of the evening, The Low Point, will take the stage at 5:00 pm. “So to start us off with got The Low Point. They’re a real fun band, we just listen to them a few seconds ago, they’re rip-roaring Rockabilly, porch stomping blue grass,” said Barbee. The band’s heartfelt, sometimes humorous songs, vocal harmonies, and pro-level musicianship are sure to get the audience moving, and please folks of any age or musical persuasion.

The second band, Coherent State will take the stage at 8:00 pm as Barbee explains, “Heavy metal oldies, but to me it sounded little bit more like that fun, danceable, emo, kind of punk rock vibe that maybe you enjoyed in yester year.” The band is a full service, full throttle rock and roll band playing rock, hair metal, oldies, Top 20, and everything in between.

Don’t worry about what to do for dinner this night because there is a slew of food trucks that will be on hand. “So we do have the Green Chili House coming back, that’s Dave’s most requested, so absolutely had to get that back for him. Then we also have Maria’s Tamales, Mamba Truck, and the Twisted Lemon will be there,” said Barbee. There is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.

There will be some fun activities for the children to enjoy on this evening too. “We’ve got our amazing kid’s activities that will be located just in the city hall/Zions Bank parking lot. So definitely check those out, just across the street from the park. As well as, we will have pony rides down at the south end of the venue so make sure you go out and ride some ponies,” stated Barbee.

Guests are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the bands. The next Helper Saturday Vibes will be held on September 9 with a theme of Country Western.
