The Dinos rested up after the trip to St. George last weekend, and they welcomed the Richfield Wildcats to Price Tuesday night. The Lady Dinos were definitely ready, taking the match in straight sets.

The Dinos made the trip to the Dixie Flyer tournament last weekend, returning home with a 4-1 record in tournament play. Carbon’s overall record sits at 7-1  and 2-0 in region play.

Carbon took over in the first set taking the win 25-15. Set number two was just as easy with a 25-12 win, and then they would close out Richfield in the third 25-15.

Madi Orth collected 18 kills and eight digs for the Dinos while Taylor Secor added eight kills, nine digs and three service aces. Dani Jensen, Jacie Jensen and Sav Hurst each collected 10 digs with Hurst adding 12 assists in the win.

Carbon will be in the road on Thursday when they travel to Delta to take on the Rabbits in a region tilt. They will back in Price on September 7 when they face the 7-2 Canyon View Falcons.
