
Lady Dino volleyball got back to work Thursday, this time on the road in Delta. Carbon has put together an impressive record so far this season as they head into the month of September. Delta pushed the Dinos to five sets but Carbon was able to come away with the 3-2 win.
The Dinos sit at 8-1 overall with a 3-0 record in Region 12 play. Coming up in less than two weeks the Utah High School Activities Association will release their initial RPI rankings for 3A volleyball, and Carbon will see how they stack up with the other competition in the classification.
Carbon came out and took the first two sets from Delta 25-22 and 25-19. Delta would come fighting back in the third and fourth sets 25-13 and 25-18 respectively.
The final set finally saw the Dinos get some separation taking the 15-9 win in the fifth set and securing the 3-2 win.
The Dinos will be home Thursday when Canyon View comes to town. Thursday is the only contest of the week for the Lady Dinos.
