Emery volleyball has yet to lose a game this season, and they have only given up nine sets in 13 straight wins. Juab visited the Spartan Center on Thursday night and the Wasps did take the Lady Spartans to four sets but Emery still came up with the win 3-1.

You have to go back to October of last year for the last time the Spartans lost in state tournament play to Morgan. They have rattled off straight wins through their pre-season and now are in the region portion of their schedule.

Juab came out and earned the only set win in the contest in the first, with a score of 25-19. After that it was all Lady Spartans taking the next three 25-15, 25-18 and 25-22.

The Spartans have a 13-0 record overall and a 3-0 record in Region 12 play. On September 11, the Utah High School Activities Association the initial RPI rankings will be released letting the Lady Spartans know where they stand against the rest of 3A.  The numbers will be updated after every game and then the final numbers will be used for seeding come tournament time.

Because of the holiday, Emery will on be on the court once next week when they welcome North Sanpete. Game time is set for 6:30
